Adobe® Acrobat® PDF Publishing & Conversion

Adobe® Portable Document Format (PDF) is the open, de facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide. Adobe PDF is a universal file format that preserves all the fonts, formatting, graphics, and color of any source document, regardless of the application and platform used to create it. Adobe PDF files are compact and can be shared, viewed, navigated, and printed exactly as the author intended by anyone with free Adobe® Acrobat®Reader®  software.

The One-Off CD Shop has offered PDF authoring and conversion services since the software was first released in 1993. The Portable Document Format solved many of our client’s problems with document publishing and distribution such as: true cross-platform compatibility, stable software for viewing and browsing document collections, and easy to use navigation and search capabilities.

You should consider converting your document collections to Acrobat® PDF format if you have experienced any of the following problems:

• Recipients can’t open files because they don’t have the applications used to create the documents
• Formatting, fonts, and graphics are lost because of platform, software, and version incompatibilities.
• Documents don’t print correctly because of software or printer limitations.
